A Cry For The Nations
Becky Knight & David Burdeshaw - 2.26.07
Isaiah 65

[verse 1]

You revealed Yourself to those, who did not ask for You.
You were found by those, who did not seek You.
To a nation that did not call on Your name,
You said, “Here am I” (2x’s)

[chorus]

Let the nations bow down, let the people break free
From bondage and slavery, to every evil thing.
By coming to You, who sets captives free.
Let them live, move, and breathe, by the power of Your name!
Let them see You as Lord, of heaven and earth!
For by You and for You, all things were created.
Let the nations bow down and hail You as KING! (repeat)

[verse 2]

All day long, You have held out Your hands.
To an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good.
Pursuing their own imaginations,
Provoking You to Your face,
Sacrificing in gardens,
And burning incense on alters of brick

[bridge]

Lost, now found
undone, now clean
Alone, brought near
You beckon me
Here am I, Lord send me
